Mwanzila had no clean water. Women walked four kilometres to the nearest borehole. Children missed school to help carry water.
Then 200 people committed to K1-A-Day. In six months, the fund reached K36,500 ΓΓΓΆ enough to drill a borehole.
The day the water came, the whole community gathered. Children cried with joy. Old women danced. And 200 givers, most of whom had never visited Mwanzila, knew that their K1 had changed everything.
